Cads is now featuring our members' own personal collections. Currently we are showcasing the wonderful Art Deco frames collection of our contributing writer to the CADS magazine, Mr. Steve Starr. His column STARRLIGHT appears in each issue. Steve has this to say about his hoard: " My incredible collection of over 950 gorgeous Art Deco photo frames began with just one frame I hung on my newly papered studios walls when I was celebrating my 9th anniversary of Steve Starr Studios back in 1976. It looked so great, and I hung another and then another and, fascinated by their colors, style, and variety, I began to search for them. Soon, my walls were covered with hundreds of beautiful, original Art Deco frames filled with images of Hollywood's most elegant stars of the 1920's, 1930's, and 1940's. This collection led me to write my book, Picture Perfect-Deco Photo Frames 1926-1946, published by Rizzoli International Publications (1991)." Yours Steve Starr
